CSIRO's Data61 research activities on blockchain include several applications to Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric. Dr Adnene Guabtni is joining us from Data61 to talk about the latest research projects in this space and some of the tools and approaches developed at Data61 to facilitate industry adoption of blockchain technologies. These include a blockchain visualisation tool, a model-driven engineering tool for blockchain-based business process execution, and a self-sovereign identity and key management mobile app that helps users interact with smart contracts on Ethereum and/or Hyperledger Fabric blockchain, without relying on an identity provider or cloud-based key management solutions. Dr Guabtni will also showcase a recent external industry project that aims to monitor a supply chain for unforeseen and deviating behaviour or events using Hyperledger Fabric and self-sovereign identities.
