Looking to meet more LGBTQ+ people? Join us at The London Art Bar for our regular meet-ups hosted by LAB co-founder Gareth.
Now in our fourth year, our meet-ups are all about meeting new people, making friends, and having a good time in a queer-friendly space.
The meet-ups have a very relaxed vibe with background music at just the right volume for chatting to people! There are also some boardgames on the shelves if people fancy playing them. Feel free to bring your own!
I (Gareth) try my best to greet everybody, but this is of course easier at the beginning of the event. If you are ever stuck, say hello to our friendly bar team who can point you in my direction.

Pitch Your Friend - IRL Dating Night
The London Art Bar, 300 High Holborn, London, GBHey everyone! This is another event that I've always wanted to try out, and I think lots of people in this group might like it. I first came across the concept in New York, but haven't really seen much like it in London.
The basic presumption is that dating via the apps is kinda horrible, but people are craving in person connection. In these events about 10-15 people get on stage and "pitch" their single friends to an audience. There's time for mingling, and your single friend might agree for you to share their Insta handle to enable people to slide into their DMs.
I'm planning this as an event open to the public (with ticketing via londonartbar.com). I can't guarantee it will be an entirely LGBTQ+ event, but I'll be running it and so it should be all okay... It's very much a pilot!
