Free Online Webinar with Q&A
October 29th | 12:00-1:30 PM ET

One of the biggest challenges natural gardeners face is navigating outdated city weed codes and strict HOA rules.

While we may understand the environmental value of native plantings, not everyone does—and the familiar look of tidy lawns still sets neighborhood expectations.

Join author and designer Benjamin Vogt for a candid talk on:

  • What “weediness” really means in urban and suburban settings
  • How to work effectively with city inspectors and HOA boards
  • Best practices for designing and maintaining natural gardens that look intentional and cared for

He’ll also highlight new city and state laws that can serve as models for communities making room for nature.

This is a commonly requested topic we hear from our community, and we’re glad to make it accessible to everyone.
