Ride to Julian

Pie Time. Yes, time for a ride to Julian for some BBQ, pie and ice cream. Julian is nestled in east San Diego County and was founded in the 1870’s as a gold boomtown and is now home to the Julian Pie Company.

The route will take us through some freeways before exiting Highway 79 and riding near Pala Casino for a gas stop before entering the canyon roads up Highway 76. Please have your 91-expressway toll account in good standing. Julian will be our lunch stop for an hour before riding back towards Josie’s Hideout where our ride will end.

Skill Level: Intermediate due to distance and twisties.

For your safety and that of the group, we require that you show up with a DOT-approved helmet, full tank of gas, and tires in good condition.
