We try and offer various walks for all abilities to promote positive physical and mental wellbeing. Subs are £1 payable to the host for each event attended, which goes towards the costs for running the group and planning future events.
Rules;
- ALL Members should have a recent face picture so we can identify you when you are new to the group.
- Please read ALL of the event description for each walk, so you know what to expect with regard to terrain and any obstacles, if the walk is suitable for your level of ability, and what you need to bring with you.
- Please remove your RSVP if you are unable to attend an event, 3 ‘no shows’ and you are removed.
- If you drop out and have booked lunch please message the host.
- No reserving a place on every event and not turning up to anything.

Stepping Out from Sleaford
The Hub, Navigation Wharf, Carre St, Sleaford NG34 7TW, Sleaford, GBWe start from outside The Hub in the centre of Sleaford. The Hub opens at 10am so toilets available just before we set off.
Parking is free on a Sunday at Eastgate Car Park directly adjacent to the Hub.
The 7.5 mile walk takes us East out of Sleaford along the river and passing Cogglesford Watermill to the villages of Evedon and Ewerby. There will be a short pub stop at the Country House Hotel, Restaurant & Wedding Venue in Sleaford, Lincolnshire | The Finch Hatton Arms before returning via the village of Kirby La Thorpe to Sleaford.
The Hub has a cafe at the end of the walk and the cafe is dog friendly.
Alternatively I am happy to book Sunday lunch at a nearby pub (comes highly recommended) if sufficient interest.

A different Woodhall Wander
Dambusters Memorial, Station Rd, Woodhall Spa LN10 6QL, UK, Woodhall Spa, GBThis is an 8 mile walk starting in the centre of the village and takes in some of the former spa resorts highlights including the National Golf Centre and the Cottage Museum.
We head North out of the village along the Viking Way to the village of Stixwold with its disused railway station. The station was also the site of the Stixwould ferry across the River Witham. The station building and signal box have now been converted into a private dwelling and guest house but the platforms survive and one has a station name board.
We continue across farmland, through Halstead and Stixwold woodland to the Village Limits | Restaurant, Accommodation & Entertainment in Woodhall Spa for a brief pub/comfort stop, before passing the Petwood Hotel, home to the RAF 617 "Dambusters" Sqn, through Jubillee Park and back to our start at the dambusters memorial.
Lots of cafes and places to explore in Woodhall for those not wanting to stay for lunch.
I am booking a table at Kings Arms, Martin Dales where Sunday lunch is great value:
Home cooked Sunday Lunch, offering a choice of meats and fresh locally sourced vegetables. A choice of hot and cold starters and desserts are also available.

2 Course £13.50
