Looking to practise speaking with native speakers, make new friends, and get quick, friendly feedback on that phrase youโ€™ve been wanting to use? This meetup is for you! Everyone learning any language โ€” from absolute beginners to advanced speakers โ€” is welcome. โœจ

## Whoโ€™s this for?

Anyone learning a language who wants real conversation practice and tips from native speakers and fellow learners. All languages and levels welcome! ๐Ÿค

## How it works

  • When you arrive, find an organizer โ€” weโ€™ll help you make a nametag and get seated. โœ…
  • Weโ€™ll set up multiple tables based on attendance. Each table is for English + one other language so youโ€™ll always have a mix of native speakers and learners.
  • Popular tables include: Spanish ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ, Chinese ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ, French ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท, Japanese ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต, German ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช, Korean ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท, and Russian ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ.
  • We usually have tables for Italian ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น and Portuguese ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น, and sometimes Hebrew ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ and Arabic ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฆ.
  • If you speak or are learning a language that isnโ€™t listed, join the General / Mix table and youโ€™ll likely find someone who shares your interests. ๐Ÿช‘๐ŸŒ
  • When you arrive, tell the organizers all of the languages you speak/practice so we can help you find the right people or set up a table for you. Commenting below with the languages you speak/practice significantly raises the chances of finding practice partners at the event! ๐Ÿ’ฌ

## What to expect

  • Casual, friendly conversation in small groups.
  • A safe space to try out expressions โ€” ask โ€œHow would I say this?โ€ and get instant, practical feedback. โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ
  • Tips from native speakers on pronunciation, natural phrasing, and cultural usage so you sound more natural. ๐ŸŽงโœจ
  • A chance to meet people from different backgrounds and exchange language tips and resources. ๐Ÿคฉ
