Looking to practise speaking with native speakers, make new friends, and get quick, friendly feedback on that phrase you’ve been wanting to use? This meetup is for you! Everyone learning any language — from absolute beginners to advanced speakers — is welcome. ✨

## Who’s this for?

Anyone learning a language who wants real conversation practice and tips from native speakers and fellow learners. All languages and levels welcome! 🤝

## How it works

  • When you arrive, find an organizer — we’ll help you make a nametag and get seated. ✅
  • We’ll set up multiple tables based on attendance. Each table is for English + one other language so you’ll always have a mix of native speakers and learners.
  • Popular tables include: Spanish 🇪🇸, Chinese 🇨🇳, French 🇫🇷, Japanese 🇯🇵, German 🇩🇪, Korean 🇰🇷, and Russian 🇷🇺.
  • We usually have tables for Italian 🇮🇹 and Portuguese 🇵🇹, and sometimes Hebrew 🇮🇱 and Arabic 🇸🇦.
  • If you speak or are learning a language that isn’t listed, join the General / Mix table and you’ll likely find someone who shares your interests. 🪑🌐
  • When you arrive, tell the organizers all of the languages you speak/practice so we can help you find the right people or set up a table for you. Commenting below with the languages you speak/practice significantly raises the chances of finding practice partners at the event! 💬

## What to expect

  • Casual, friendly conversation in small groups.
  • A safe space to try out expressions — ask “How would I say this?” and get instant, practical feedback. ✍️🗣️
  • Tips from native speakers on pronunciation, natural phrasing, and cultural usage so you sound more natural. 🎧✨
  • A chance to meet people from different backgrounds and exchange language tips and resources. 🤩
