Señor Voice-Assisted Senior Medical Caretaker (Brainstorm Over Coffee)

Details
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m a traveler building Señor Voice-Assisted Senior Medical Caretaker, a hybrid wallet + super app that works in any situation — even offline.
This is a one-time pop-up event in Porto — just a small, casual focus group over coffee.
This is not a lecture — it’s a super casual brainstorm (1–3 people max) where you’ll:
- Break down the problem Señor Voice-Assisted Senior Medical Caretaker is solving
- Test how it might fit into real travel and work scenarios
- Challenge the assumptions behind it
- Help shape the future of a bold new tool
What’s in it for you?
- Free coffee or drink (my treat ☕🍵)
- Fun chat about product + startup building
- A chance to shape an idea at its earliest stage 🎉
👥 Group size: Very small (just 1–3 people, so it’s relaxed and conversational)
Idea:

Señor is a one-button, voice-first device designed to help seniors remember everyday details and stay safe at home. Instead of complex menus or task lists, it works through natural conversation: “Tell me once, ask me later.” Seniors can use it to recall where they left items, set medication reminders, or check their top three tasks for the day. The system is intentionally stripped down — a single button, loud speaker, and optional big-text display — making it simple and approachable for older users. Wake words are warm and personal (“Señor,” a nickname, or even a loved one’s name) so it feels like a companion rather than a corporate assistant.
To make the device truly reliable, it includes a watchdog system that constantly monitors its status. A separate service (cloud or local) receives regular “heartbeat” pings from the device; if power or internet drops, the device signals locally with beeps and lights while the caretaker receives an alert via SMS, email, or push notification. This ensures that if anything goes wrong — whether a lost connection or a medical emergency — caregivers know immediately. The result is a dependable, emotionally warm memory aid and caretaker tool that seniors can trust, and families can rely on.
-------
This is a very small group (max 3). If we end up with just 1 person, we’ll still run it one-on-one — actually even better for personalized feedback.
If you’d prefer a different café that’s quieter or closer for you, let me know — I’m flexible since it’s a small group.
