Jazz quartet: showcase of female composers

For this concert, a locally based quartet of excellent jazz musicians will perform a wide range of music by female composers, ranging from classics by Lil Hardin Armstrong and Melba Liston, to swinging jazz by Marian McPartland and Blossom Dearie, to contemporary tunes by Carla Bley, Joanne Brackeen, Renee Rosnes, and more.
The band consists of: Laura Klein, piano; Mary Fettig, sax/flute; Ruth Davies, bass and Kelly Fasman, drums.
COST: Starts at $28.52 (with the online service fee) for seniors and students. (The highest-priced tickets are $33.85.) Buy your own tickets.
SEATING: General admission.
WHEN/WHERE TO MEET: At 3:30 p.m. inside the church, so that we can get seats together. (The concert is scheduled to run from 4pm to 6pm)
HOW TO FIND ME: I'm WF, 5 feet tall, with short, salt-and-pepper hair, and glasses. (Also, see my pic on my Meetup profile.) I'll email my mobile number to RSVPers before the event, and if I'm missing anyone when I get seated, I'll post a Comment on the Meetup Event Page saying where I'm located.
TRANSIT/LOCATION: St. Alban's Church is located a little more than one mile from El Cerrito PLAZA BART station. (If taking BART, make sure you disembark at the correct station. There is another similarly named station one stop away.)
OPTIONAL DINNER after the concert -- If I can come up with a good, nearby restaurant within easy walking distance of the concert. Suggestions welcome!
