Free Outdoor Festival - Jazz on the Hill

Details
KCSM Radio's highly popular, FREE outdoor festival returns to San Mateo this year with a varied lineup of hour-long sets, featuring jazz, blues, and Latin music from outstanding locally based musicians.
The festival kicks off at 11 a.m. with a set by young trumpet player Skylar Tang, but I'm planning to skip that and arrive in time for the noon set by long-time favorites, the Electric Squeezebox Orchestra. They're followed by the superlative vocalist Kim Nalley leading a trio of singers honoring music greats; pianist Larry Vuckovich's quartet; and Cuban music icon Bobi Cespedes. (In addition, there will be a youth stage of performers, from 11;30 a.m. to at least 4:30 p.m.)
