Walk the Waterfront: River of Light ✨
Details
Liverpool’s iconic River of Light is back for one dazzling week only 🌃
It’s a 3KM loop of spectacular light and sound installations from brilliant local, national and international artists ✨ It’s completely free no tickets needed 🎉
We’ll stroll through the Liverpool waterfront, soak in 10 stunning artworks, snap plenty of photos 📸 and enjoy the magic together.
Key info:
🗺️ A map of the light installations is attached — our meeting point (marked in green) is at Moorfields Train Station – Old Hall Entrance/Exit.
⚠️ The station has multiple exits — make sure you use the “Old Hall Entrance/exit”.
📍 We’ll gather outside a closed Pret A Manger cafe (L3 9SX), right by the Old Hall Entrance.
👕 Rob (cohost) and I will be wearing hi-vis jackets easy to spot! We’ll also have whistles for emergencies.
⛑️ Basic first aid will be available.
💡 There are 10 light installations — we’ll begin with “Embrace.”

⏰ Meeting time: 6:30 PM sharp. Please don’t arrive late, as we can’t accommodate late joiners or mid-walk entries.
(If you miss us, you’re welcome to explore the trail on your own, it’s a free walk.)
🕕 I’ll be at the meeting point from 6:00 PM if you’d like to come early.
🌧️ Please bring a hooded jacket or umbrella in case of drizzle. If there’s heavy rain, the event will be cancelled via Meetup (though that’s unlikely).
Looking forward to seeing you all for a glowing evening! ✨
Come for the lights stay for the vibes!
See you there 😊
Disclaimer: As this is a moving walk, our walking group will leave Moorfields Station promptly at 6.45PM. If you are late and miss the start, unfortunately you won’t be able to join us. Please arrive on time ⏰✨
