What we’re about
At LEAF, we believe in a world where every community has the knowledge and resources to work in harmony with nature to cultivate a healthier planet.
Our urban gardens serve as living classrooms, soil science labs, and community spaces that empower people to learn, connect, and grow together.
Through our events and programs, we...
- educate people about healthy soil and caring for the planet
- grow and share nutritious produce with those facing food insecurity
- advance soil science through community-based research, and
- foster meaningful connections between people, food, and the land.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Free Meditation at The LEAF Urban Farm with HeartfulnessLEAF Center Garden, Fremont, CA
What if healing the land begins by healing within?
Join us at the LEAF Urban Farm for a special Heartfulness Meditation experience. In the quiet of the garden, we’ll pause together, nurture kindness and compassion within, and reflect on how inner stillness can deepen our connection with the soil, food, and community around us.
Come be part of this gentle practice of reflection and regeneration — for yourself, and for the world we’re growing together.
The class is free, and donations of any amount are always welcome to support LEAF through cash or card.
