The Focus Formula
Why Focus, Not Busyness, Drives Sustainable Growth

Being busy is not the same as moving forward.
Many capable business owners and professionals work incredibly hard, yet still feel like they are constantly reacting rather than making the kind of progress that truly moves their business or career forward. Days fill up with urgent tasks, interruptions and competing priorities, while the high-value work keeps getting pushed aside.
At this event, Kate Langford will present The Focus Formula, a practical and engaging session designed for high performers who want clearer priorities, stronger momentum, and more sustainable growth.
Drawing on her experience leading high-performing teams, building a seven-figure business and working with hundreds of professionals and business owners, Kate will unpack why so many capable people get stuck in reaction mode and what to do about it. She will explore how distractions quietly erode traction, why busy work is often mistaken for productive work, and how to identify the work that actually moves the needle.

Attendees will learn how to protect high-value thinking time, prioritise revenue-driving work, and create simple structures that reduce overwhelm and improve decision-making. Rather than offering another productivity hack, Kate will share a practical framework that helps people focus on what matters most and follow through with greater consistency.
Whether you are running a business, leading a team, or juggling multiple responsibilities, this workshop will help you move from reactive busyness to intentional progress.
As always, Local Networking Nights (previously named LinkedIn Local Sunshine Coast) combines professional development with relaxed networking, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with Sunshine Coast business owners and professionals before and after the presentation.
Come along to learn, connect, and refocus on the work that will create the biggest impact.
