Home of Mid-Week Crisis and Sunday Drinks - we're a group of friends organizing events where the only goals are to hang out, have good conversations, and make friends!
Our group and events are open to anyone, but our ambition is to be a place for immigrants who are committed to Amsterdam for the long-term, and locals who want to meet new people. When we first moved to Amsterdam, we were looking for smaller, more intimate meetups with more regulars, and decided to create our own group for exactly that.
We aim to create a close-knit and welcoming environment where you feel at home immediately, and are always looking forward to the next event - and would love your feedback if that was not the case!
We have a zero tolerance policy for sexism, racism, homophobia, harassment or creepy/inappropriate behavior at our events. Our meetups are NOT singles/dating events, do not assume other attendees are here for this reason. If you notice any behavior at our events that make you or anyone else uncomfortable, please do not hesitate to reach out to the organizers - the sooner we hear about it, the better we're able to take action.

This Midweek Crisis event is different from our classics: we're going to have our second Social Wine Tasting!
No, it's not your usual wine tasting event, where you sit and listen to an expert. It's a flexible, standing format where you can move, chat, and sip at your own pace!
How It Works:
- No need to come at 19:30, you can join whenever you want until the bar closes (0:00).
- Attendance requires a ticket 🎟️

- 4 exceptional wines in a super cozy wine bar in the heart of Amsterdam.

Casual Cycling Trip to Twiske
Amsterdam Centraal Station, Stationsplein, Amsterdam, NLSince the weather is actually cooperating, we are escaping the city lines this Sunday for a casual bike ride up north to Het Twiske. If you haven't been, it's a massive nature reserve full of lakes, windmills, and Scottish Highlanders (the fluffy cows, not the guys in kilts).
This isn't a high-speed training session, so you don't need spandex or a 5,000-euro racing bike. A standard swapfiets or city bike will do just fine.The Strategy:
- The Route: We’ll grab the ferry behind Centraal Station, cruise through Amsterdam Noord, and hit the scenic paths up to the park. It’s roughly 15 km each way - completely flat and entirely manageable.
- The Vibe: Low-stress, high-reward. We’ll pedal at a conversational pace, stop to take a few photos of windmills for proof, and find a solid spot by the water to hang out.
- What to bring: Pack some snacks, a drink, sunscreen and optionally something to sit on.
Clear your afternoon, inflate your tires, and let’s get out of the concrete jungle for a bit.
