SEPTEMBER LIVE VIDEO: DREW THOMAS AND BAND, LIVE AT PAPER DRESS VINTAGE, 1 OCTOBER
Hi All
About time we had a BIG indie rock night and who could be better than than the incredible "grit pop rock" artist DREW THOMAS with his epic band at the gloriously original, and newly iconic venue Paper Dress Vintage Hackney? Drew has a very special guest, alt pop female fronted band JANGS. Its going to be SO cool!
7.30pm - We meet for drinks and a social (theres a great outdoor terrace too)
8.15pm - Music starts, we head upstairs to the great live room!
DREW THOMAS has emerged from the East Midlands to take his place among London's vibrant music scene as the dynamic leader of a new grit-pop movement, known for his determination and powerful songwriting.
Blending grit pop, indie rock and high-energy alt-pop, Drew mirrors elements of The Killers, Jimmy Eat World and Sam Fender with his sonic offering. With a knack for crafting arena-sized choruses and emotionally resonant, nostalgic lyrics, Drew spins tales of rejection, broken relationships, and addiction with cathartic storytelling.
Drew's live performances are a testament to his growing popularity. Drew sold out headline shows in London and Nottingham and as performed at Reading & Leeds, Great Escape, Y Not, Dot to Dot and Future Echoes (Sweden) Festivals.
Drew has written for artists such as Tom Walker, James TW, and Tadhg Daly and was amongst BBC Introducing’s Top 10 Most Played Artist since 2023, a nominee for Pride 25’s UrLifeTheMixtape in 2024.

She has since settled in London, where she has woven herself into the fabric of its roots music scene. Marta obtained a master’s degree in performing arts from the Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland, but has evolved as an artist in her own right, adopting a unique Mediterranean and Eastern European jazz style, blended with poignant and emotive lyrics. Her debut album “Queen of Shadows”, recorded at Spiritual Records Studios with Jack Trouble was released in March 2025.
