Join us for a Friday social at the National Portrait Gallery. (Please note this is National PORTRAIT Gallery and not National Gallery.) With late opening times enjoy amazing exhibits. This is a social event so plenty of chances to meet new people.

Format of the event: You will have the opportunity to socialise and connect with people at the meeting point and then go off into the museum together to explore. Afterwards we will head to a wonderful bar for some relaxing social.

Schedule Summary:
**6:45pm:**We will gather outside the main entrance near the Statue of Henry Irving. We will wait for 30 mins. In that time, you should meet and say hello to every single person.

8pm gather at meeting point again

8:15pm: We will head to Zebranos on Greek St. Please remember to bring your ID! No athletic track suits or sports trainers.

Ladies and Gents, I'm looking forward to our event at the National Portrait Gallery! Our host will be Ken who has hosted our British Museum events on numerous occasions.

How will this event work?
We will meet at the meeting point at 6:45pm and wait for 30mins for people to turn up. The meeting point is OUTSIDE the National Portrait Gallery entrance near the Statue of Henry Irving. During this time attendees must go around and introduce themselves to everyone in the group. There will be no stickers or identifiers handed out so you will need to remember who's who so you can find each other easily inside the museum. The icebreaker question of today is

"If someone painted your portrait to capture the essence of your personality, what would be in the background or what would you be doing in it?"

At 7:15pm we will go inside the gallery. Make sure you have gained a free ticket from the official website https://my.npg.org.uk/events?k=general%20admission

Meet again at the initial meeting point at 8pm. You next icebreaker question is "What artwork attracted your attention the most today?". We will gather for 15 mins.

At 8:15pm, head to the bar

Late comers, best time to join is at 7:10pm (at exit), 8pm (at exit) or 8:30 and bar.
