London Society of Explorers

Have you ever wanted to scout the city and learn more in depth about its history and culture? If so, this may be the right event for you.

Welcome to the walking tour where all of this is possible. With this particular tour, I’ll be guiding you around Chinatown where it holds so much history and tradition which makes it one of the most popular tourist attractions in London.

• Famous people and their visit

After the walking tour, we will be finishing off at ‘Candy Cafe’ for some Chinese delicacies if you wish. ‘Candy Cafe’ is well renowned for their eastern Asian desserts and beverages and has been for a while specialising in over 30 different varieties.

Have you ever wanted to gather together and view many paintings through the forms of appreciation and understanding and in the evening? If so, this may be the right event for you.

Welcome to the National Gallery where all of this is possible. Within this particular event, we are to explore the artwork painted by many famous artists such as Da Vinci & Van Gogh and much more. These paintings range from the 13th to the 20th century and depict so much on religion, history and the landscapes of what it was before. It’s enticing to see and grasp the appreciation from all the work provided.

Luckily, the National Gallery opens till 9pm so we can make the most out of the evening.

Here is the plan:
6pm - 6:20pm: Await the members and get to know one another.
6:20pm - 8:45pm: Explore the artwork within the gallery and socialise amongst one another
8:45pm: Either part ways or do an aftermath.

Welcome to the BAKERY Crawl where you have the opportunity to explore and savour the food from some of the places we may visit.
With this particular event, we will be exploring an array of bakeries that revolves around Europe. We will also be savouring what they may deliver. Based on research and experience, the places we are to visit have some unique delicacies which has brought joy to the world.

Here are the Bakeries we’ll be visiting:

• Arome Bakery (French)
• Bagariet (Swedish)
• Ole and Steen (Danish)

So the plan is extremely simple. We’re to visit each food place and savour their unique delicacies hence the term ‘Bakery crawl’.

This is the opportunity to explore the Food places, eat, drink, make new friends but most importantly, have an enjoyable yet memorable experience.

Welcome to the ‘Deep conversations’ event where you get the opportunity to share your views based on the topics that we may cover.

The last time this was executed, it not only went well but we managed to learn from one another which broadened our thinking.

With this particular event, the topics we’ll discuss are:

• Marriage vs relationship without marriage
• How do you define Love?
• The male mindset vs the female mindset
  when it comes to relationships

  so, what did you learn?

We get so preoccupied with daily life that we hardly have a chance to sit back and think as well as discuss many topics in such depth. When was the last time you sat back and thought about anything in depth which opened your eyes to so many possibilities and broadened your thinking?

Now is your chance to share your views and learn from one another. By participating in this, you could broaden your ways of thinking, learn new lessons or even heal if you have your hidden struggles.
