Griffith Park Moderate to Advanced Hike

Meeting Location: Lot 2 by the Merry-Go-Round, Griffith Park

Description:
Join us for a scenic and moderately challenging hike in Griffith Park! We will take single-track trails up and fire roads down, ensuring a well-rounded outdoor experience with both technical and easier terrain. The hike will cover approximately 1200 feet of elevation gain and will last about 2 hours in total.

Important Details:

• Distance & Terrain: Expect a moderate to advanced hike with 1200 feet of elevation gain. The trail includes both single-track paths and fire roads, so it will be a balanced mix of technical terrain and easier, wide trails.
• Footwear: Grippy shoes are highly recommended as the trails can be rocky and uneven in places.
• What to Bring: Please bring plenty of water and enough snacks to keep you energized for the 2-hour hike.
• Pacing: We will stick together as a group regardless of individual fitness levels, so no one will be left behind.
• Sweep: A volunteer from the group will assist with sweeping to ensure that no one gets lost or falls behind.
• Punctuality: The hike will start on time, so please arrive promptly. We will only wait for a maximum of 5 minutes for latecomers.
• Parking: Please arrive early to find parking in Lot 2 or nearby.

Important Note: The hike will begin promptly at 4pm. Latecomers will only have a 5-minute grace period before we start without them, so please be on time.
