CHICKS is a four-piece band fusing the raw energy of Jimi Hendrix and the groove of D’Angelo with the jazz-driven depth of Herbie Hancock, Joe Henderson, and the fresh sound of SMANDEM. Built on hip-hop rhythms, painted with jazz chords, and charged with distorted guitars and heavy synth leads, Kay Alvarado van der Linden (keys & guitar), Ramiro Olivares Fuchs (drums), Gio Bargowo (guitar), and Ravi Hoevenaars (bass) craft a sound that is unmistakably their own.C.H.I.C.K.S feels like a journey through psychedelic guitar landscapes, funky grooves, and rich harmonies — music that is raw, groovy, and adventurous all at once.

Souljamz is a soul/neosoul driven group led by Amsterdam based guitarist Prosper Ramaker, along with Giuls on vocals and and Kay Alvarado on keys . Be prepared for a night full of groovy epic jams, covers and original music. He’ll also have a lot of amazing guest artists joining him on stage.

Step into the groove at Loving Room Jam, where the music flows, the energy is contagious and creativity has no bounds!
Featuring a handpicked lineup of experienced musicians, this jam session promises to deliver high-quality, dynamic performances that will keep you on your feet. Whether you are a musician eager to jam or someone who loves to vibe to the beat, this session is for everyone. Musicians of all levels are welcome to join in and create magic together, while the audience is invited to move, dance, and and soak in the infectious rhythms. Of course, if you’d rather unwind with a cocktail in hand, the bar’s got you covered!

### Agenda of the evening

- Kitano
Kitano is a young Mexican musician who studied in Paris before coming to Amsterdam to study at the Conservatory. He specializes in Jazz Piano and works as a jazz pianist, composer, arranger, and producer for R&B, Rap, Latin, and Pop artists. He has performed in different countries including Mexico, France and the Netherlands. Kitano has participated in events like the UNESCO International Art Forum in Mexico City and the Jalisco Jazz Festival in Guadalajara. Kitano is also a multi-instrumentalist who loves diversity and mixture in music. He is always happy to collaborate with different people. He has collaborated with artists like Chick Corea, Iraida Noriega, and others. With support from Antonio Sánchez, he is set to release his second jazz album featuring his compositions in the summer of 2024.
