Brisbane, we’re doing something a little different.
LTDM Doers is hosting Chal-Chup – our first English–Hindi South Asian stand-up comedy open mic, blending community, culture, and a lot of laughs in the heart of Fortitude Valley.
📅 Date: FRIDAY 24 July
🕕 Time: From 6:00 pm (DJ & arrivals), comedy from around 7:00 pm
📍 Venue: Jolly Rogers, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
What to expect
- 🎧 Live DJ from 6:00 pm for pre-show drinks and vibes
- 🎤 Open mic stand-up and storytelling in English + Hindi/Hinglish
- 🍸 Bar open for drinks all night
- 🤝 A room full of Doers, business owners, professionals, creatives, and good humans
All sets are new acts, many of which have never been performed in Brisbane before.
Expect the unexpected. Not for the faint-hearted.

- LTDM Doers members, friends, and anyone who loves stand-up
- People comfortable with Hindi/Hinglish (non-Hindi speakers are welcome but may miss some jokes and references)
- Grown-ups who don’t mind bold, unfiltered comedy
