[One Shot] Dragonbane - Winter Ravages

After a long day traveling in biting autumn winds, you
arrive at Harvestville, a sleepy rural village. You get rooms
at a local inn called The Golden Sprout, where the warmth
from the common room’s hearth feels like a gift from the
gods. During the following night, a ravaging snow storm
descends on the village from the northern mountains, and
as you awaken you find meter-thick snow covering the
landscape. Winter storms are not uncommon in these parts,
but snow coming this early and this suddenly has never
happened before.

Since there is no use trying to travel on in this weather, you
decide to wait out the storm here in the village. But hours
turn to days, and days to weeks. You find yourselves entirely
at the villagers mercy and good will. They allow you to stay,
and give you rooms and food.
