Final Forte Young Artists Competition - Meet at Barriques before - For Women 50+

Meet at Barriques for light refreshment before walking 2 blocks to the Overture for the FREE final young artists competition "Final Forte", featuring two violinists, a pianist, and marimba player! Be at Barriques at 5:15PM for hot expresso or tea drinks and light refreshment. We depart for the Overture at 6:00PM, when Barriques closes. The concert hall doors open at 6:15PM and close at 6:45PM. (Doors close before the 7pm concert start time because the competition is being recorded). You must get your FREE ticket for the event, in additional to RSVP-ing here if you want to meet the group at Barriques. The seating at Barriques may be quite cozy, but it serves as a good location to gather beforehand. There is plenty of additional space in the interior balcony (over the cashier) for our members who can handle the steps up to it.

This Final Forte competition night is when four gifted young artists vie for top honors in the final round of the 2026 Bolz Young Artist Competition. Broadcast from Overture Hall at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, the concert features the magnificent Madison Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Music Director John DeMain.
