2 hour badminton session
Come and play in a casual, friendly badminton session in Manchester!

We strongly encourage all new members to attend one of the social Saturday/Sunday badminton sessions before attending an intermediate session to avoid the risk of potentially being turned away on the day without refund.

To participate in the Intermediate sessions, players must meet all the following criteria:

Intermediate:
• Able to consistently clear to the baseline (forehand and backhand).
• Performs drops, smashes, and defensive shots with regularity.
• Good footwork and positioning.
• Consistently retrieves and returns a variety of shots (drops, smashes, clears).
• Moves efficiently across the court using proper footwork.
• Plays competitively with strategy and consistency.
Players may be tested to perform these shots before you can play. Host has final say.

By signing up for this session, you confirm that you meet the above required criteria. If we find that a significant skill disparity is affecting the overall experience, we may ask you to leave the session. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a balanced and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Dress Code, Well-Being, Conduct, and Equal Opportunity
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for indoor sports. Keep jewellery to a minimum—avoid large earrings, chains, or bracelets for safety.

Your wellbeing is our utmost priority. If you have any health concerns, consult your doctor before participating. Ensure you warm up and cool down with stretches to minimize the risk of injuries. Please note, you play at your own risk, and we are not liable for any injuries sustained.

We welcome players of all backgrounds and treat everyone equally with respect. This is also expected from our participants. If you fail to do this, you may be asked to leave the session, or even banned from the group and attending future sessions. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes earlier to stretch and warm up.

We play doubles for the whole time and keep rotating courts so everyone plays each other. We welcome players of all backgrounds and we treat everyone equally with respect. This is also expected from our participants.

Cancellation Policy
This game has a 24-hour cancellation policy and if cancelled in time, you will be eligible for a 100% refund.

Location- Manchester academy high school sports hall, go through the green gates to get to the car park, then go through the other set of green gates which is on the left of the reception and follow the path until you reach the sports hall. Co-ordinates of entrance 53.4579019, -2.2328398
