8.5 mile walk: Edale Moor and Grindslow Knoll, Circular from Edale Station

The route will takes us up along the breathtaking edge of Edale Moor to the summit of Grindslow Knoll before descending to Edale Station via The Rambler Inn for refreshments.

The intention is to offer car shares from The Metropolitan from 10am. I can offer three seats but if you have a vehicle which can offer more or would like a lift, post below.
The 10:30 train from Manchester Piccadilly arrives at 11:31, according to google maps. More details here. Details of the return journey here.
We'll set off from The Penny Pot Cafe (Station Approach, Edale, Hope Valley S33 7ZA) at 11:35am promptly. I'll bring a South Manchester Social sign, so look out for that.
Terrain will be challenging with a dog but if you think your pooch is up to it (they may have to be lifted over some obstacles) dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a lead at all times.
