This is a walk with views and hidden gems. A wonderful wander along the Sett Valley trail with many interesting species of flora. Then we head up-hill on to open moorland and bog before hitting the edge of calciferous limestone, then down into the sheep-shod valley of Edale.
Please wear appropriate footwear as some paths may be muddy and rough underfoot.

Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform, at Piccadilly station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train or at the station at New Mills Central.

Transport to Walk Start: Manchester Piccadilly to New Mills Central at 09:19.

Suggested Ticket: GM Wayfarer will cover all journeys for the day £17.40

Walk Start: New Mills Central railway station at 09:55.

Waypoints: Sett Valley Trail, Brown moor, Rushop Edge, Edale.

Return Services: x:47 until 22:57.

Extra: No toilets at walk start or en route. Optional pub visit at the end of the walk Please do not bring your dog (apart from assistance dogs)
