Details

The Narrow-Gauge Rail-Trail uses the roadbed of the country’s first two-foot-gauge common-carrier railway (half the width of today's standard) - the Billerica & Bedford Railroad. It extends northward three miles from Loomis Street to the Bedford-Billerica town line. We'll do an afternoon out and back walk from Billerica southward to Fawn Lake for a total of about 3 miles with an option to extend the walk an additional 2 miles. This is an easy, flat trail that is paved in some areas.

The Exploring Group is joining The Walking Group on this event.

Park and meet in the lot at 600 Technology Park Dr, Billerica, MA 01821. Look for the lot with the FedEx drop box.
