Join us for a awesome Sunday Morning @ the well known van Gaalen Cheese Farm is located in Skeerpoort, a village at the foothills of the Magaliesberg Mountains. The cheese factory was established in 1994 by immigrants from Holland. Trails of different distances extend over 30 private properties.
MEET at 8.15am in the parking lot on the Cheese Farm to buy your day permit and sign the indemnity form. START of walk is at 8.30 am sharp. COST - R50 for the day permit + your personal expenses The walk is mostly on almost flat terrain and allows for participants to return to the starting point at different stages. You can do a 5, 7, or 10km walk. All walks are well sign posted. The day host will do the 10km walk. If you want to do a shorter walk, never walk alone - ensure you have at least one walk buddy.
Address - R560 Skeerpoort After the walk those who like to do so, can have brunch in the attractive restaurant gardens on the cheese farm property. There is also a shop to buy Dutch cheeses made on the property.
