A Healing Place

In a world that moves fast, it’s easy to lose touch with yourself. Stress builds. Focus slips. You react more quickly than you’d like. Maybe your sleep is off, or you can’t seem to wind down even when you finally have a quiet moment. The good news? You don’t need to overhaul your life to feel more present, centered, and well. You just need small, sustainable tools that meet you where you are.
Mindfulness in Small Doses is a weekly gathering for people who want to manage stress more skillfully, build emotional resilience, and show up to life with more clarity and calm—without needing hours of meditation or perfect practice.
Each session includes:

• A short, guided mindfulness practice to help you reset
• A relatable theme grounded in everyday life (like navigating overwhelm, softening self-criticism, or staying present during tough conversations)
• Gentle, real-time reflection with a supportive group
• Simple tools you can bring into your day—whether you’re in a meeting, folding laundry, or stuck in traffic

You’ll learn how to:

• Pause and respond rather than react
• Build self-awareness without judgment
• Stay grounded when life gets unpredictable
• Bring mindfulness into daily moments without needing to slow down completely

This isn’t a performance or a deep dive into perfection. It’s a space to practice being human—with intention, compassion, and care.

Let's take some time to dial back the clock in our respective body, mind, emotions, and soul. We will do Gentle and Restorative yoga asanas to release our stiff, tired muscles and negative emotions. We will channel the slow and relaxing pace of Hatha and Restorative yoga styles, while also enjoying soothing tones from gongs, singing bowls, chimes, and/or tuning forks to help ease the weight of the world off our shoulders. Also, we will use our breath and positive self talk to manifest that which we love & seek, while exhaling whatever does not bring us joy -- to ultimately marinate in peace and tranquility.

Dress in clothing to move and breathe in. Bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow, plus a friend.

Donations are much appreciated to help us open a nonprofit that aims to make healing more affordable through low coast/no cost classes and private sessions.
