We had a great time last meeting talking about spirit companions and Peter the giant cat. For next month we chose to read, The Secret History Donna Tartt

This month we will be reading The Secret History Donna Tartt**

Truly deserving of the accolade modern classic, Donna Tartt's novel is a remarkable achievement—both compelling and elegant, dramatic and playful.

Under the influence of their charismatic classics professor, a group of clever, eccentric misfits at an elite New England college discover a way of thinking and living that is a world away from the humdrum existence of their contemporaries. But when they go beyond the boundaries of normal morality they slip gradually from obsession to corruption and betrayal, and at last—inexorably—into evil.

**At the end of the discussion we can vote on which book we read for next month so bring a queer suggestion.

Nov 13th @boyfriendcoop from 7-9pm! Moonflow is a 2025 debut horror novel by Bitter Karella, published by Orbit. The book is a psychedelic and queer-focused story about a mushroom farmer named Sarah who ventures into a mysterious forest to find a legendary mushroom called the "King's Breakfast". The novel blends horror, dark humor, and transgressive themes as Sarah encounters a reclusive cult and the unsettling, eldritch horrors of the woods.

Queer Women Reading Whatever We Fancy: Nov/Dec book club/holiday party

Hi all-

As our next scheduled dates both fall over Thanksgiving and then Christmas, we are set for a combined Nov/Dec book club which will also serve as a holiday party! Please bring anything you might want to share.
