What we’re about

Hello to everyone interested in urban mindfulness!

We are a small group of international people living and working in Tokyo, gathering to practice meditation and yoga in the heart of the city. Our intention is simple: to cultivate inner stillness through outer quiet.

When we settle into stillness, we naturally step back from our thoughts and return to the present moment, allowing life to flow without grasping.

In Buddhism, this is related to the concept of 空 / 無 (sky-like emptiness) — the open, spacious awareness that remains peaceful regardless of what appears within it.
In yogic traditions, meditation reveals this same inner space as our true nature, helping us rely less on external circumstances for peace or happiness.

Together, we aim to deepen this sense of stillness — this inner “skyness” — that is already present within each of us, and to support one another through shared practice.

### Current Activities

🧘 Morning Yoga (Weekly, usually Wednesday)
7:30–9:00am
Held at a rental studio in Shibuya, or in Yoyogi Park on sunny mornings.
We think of it as “Morning yoga to return to the Self.”

🕊 Weekday Evening Meditation
Usually Monday 19:00–20:45 in a Japanese-style rental space,
and either Wednesday or Friday at a community center in Harajuku.
These gatherings are relaxed, friendly, and open to all experience levels.
