PRAWLE POINT - BEACHCOMB 🦀 ROCKPOOLS 🦀 HEADLAND- 4 miles
Details
⭐️⭐️ - Limited number to add a small group already coming for an event - if theres interest have pencilled in another LOW TIDE date in April...
Join others from "Meet up" for a marine amble of only around 4 miles visiting the coastgaurd / headland & maybe museum then down to the rocky platform shore to do some finding of the marine life 🦀- bring your empty lunch box, be useful ! LUNCH on beach 👍. LOW spring tide around 2pm
⭐️ 6 pound Bull Huss found once in rockpool !
⭐️ Mainly boulders to look under ( we are very careful to put back boulders the same way up ⭐️ - essential )
⭐️ Needs hiking boots / super wellies but its slippy ! Lunch on beach - I will ID any plants showing on the walk if theres interest, plus the beachcombing is excellent.
⭐️ So lots of stopping, looking, finding & learning informally if you want, Am informal FSC tutor ( Slapton ) So not a long walk but estimate will finish around 4pm- weather often determines this !
⭐️ Livestock on headland & along coastal stretch above beach so dogs must be on leads including mine, I have 2 very friendly bearded collies. Shore no livestock might be ok off lead there - will advise.
⭐️ £2 appreciated to help with Meet up fees / fuel expenses
