Day of Relational Mindfulness
Details
Please note that signing up on Meetup is just the first step — your spot is confirmed once payment is completed (details below).
You’re invited to a full-day immersion in relational presence — an opportunity to practice the Dharma not alone, but together.
Held at Greatwood Zen Center, a Plum Village–inspired community space next to Reedy Creek Park, this gathering blends mindfulness with relational awareness.
While silent meditation cultivates inner stillness, this day explores what happens when we bring that awareness into connection — in real time.
To keep the experience intimate, participation is capped at 11 people.
WHY COME?
This retreat may be for you if you:
• Practice mindfulness and want more aliveness in relationship
• Long for authentic, nourishing connection
• Want to feel more embodied and expressed
• Crave both depth and playfulness
• Desire a space where honesty and kindness coexist
This is a space to rest in awareness, be seen in your truth (including your boundaries), and explore your natural impact on others.
WHAT WE’LL EXPLORE
Through large group sessions, small groups, and pairs, we’ll practice:
• Naming what is happening right now — in body, heart, and mind
• Staying close to our direct experience
• Updating assumptions in real time
• Relaxing control and cultivating trust
• Practicing truth and love as living realities
No one is asked to perform, fix themselves, or push past their limits.
Transformation here arises not from effort — but from being with what is already alive.
WHAT YOU MIGHT EXPERIENCE
Each person’s journey is unique, but participants often leave with:
• Greater inner peace and wonder in connection
• A deeper sense of being fully “arrived” in themselves
• Feeling seen without bypassing boundaries
• More embodied expression
• Courage to shine and love without apology
WHAT THIS IS NOT
• Not therapy or group healing
• Not a “safe space” guarantee — we practice brave space
• Not about emotional hierarchy — all experiences are welcome
• Not about comfort alone — growth and ease both belong
