Come for the seafood and stay for the camaraderie! Atlantic offshore fisheries offers an amazing menu, plus certain times of year some lunch specials.

Lydia and I enjoyed crab cakes off of the specials menu, and they came with yummy New England Clam Chowder (or Manhattan available). We also had a choice between fries and salad - both were great.

Atlantic Offshore Fishery is a sushi and seafood restaurant with a wholesale fishmarket inside. They are BYOB, so feel free to bring some wine if you’d like.

There is free parking in the lot across the street from the restaurant.

For November, let’s discuss James by Percival Everett, the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction winner. — A brilliant, action-packed reimagining of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, both harrowing and ferociously funny, told from the enslaved Jim’s point of view.

Sofia’s Taqueria is the very colorful restaurant on the corner of Hooper and Church Road. They get great reviews on their foods and margaritas, as well as great menus including a Sunday brunch menu of savory and sweet dishes.

I think we will be seated with the brunch menu as this is a Sunday. Check it out online!

They require a credit card and guarantee of $25 per person for reservations, so I will not be making a reservation. I believe we will be seated timely without one.
