Come along and experience this new craze spreading around the world called Laughter Yoga! Join us at our really fun weekly Laughter Club and laugh for better health and happiness. (Frankston location).
Laughter Yoga is a combination of Yoga breathing (Pranayama) and laughter exercises that assists in improving your well-being in mind, body and spirit. Learn how to train your body and mind to laugh unconditionally without jokes, humour or comedy. Learn the difference between joy and happiness, how to laugh even when you don't feel like it through breathing and laughter exercises which help to move the body and change the state of mind.
Laughter Yoga is a low-impact exercise that anyone can do as it doesn't include Yoga poses and you don't need a high level of fitness. In a Laughter Yoga session we do deep breathing and stretching, clapping, dancing, laughter exercises, then laughter meditation and a guided relaxation (Yoga Nidra). We mix it up each week to keep it fresh. Laughter Yoga can help you bring about transformation, help you to create a positive outlook and cope with the adversities of daily life by learning how to apply the wisdom of laughter exercises to real life situations.
It is suited for anyone who would like to bring more laughter in their life, for people with chronic pain, a disability, stress or depression or for those who are socially isolated. Please note that Laughter Yoga is an exercise so it is advised that if you have a medical condition to please check with your doctor first. It's about having an awareness of your body and we do put emphasis on providing a safe and fun environment. Feel free to send me a personal message to discuss this.
