Moulin Rouge the musical is a stage adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's 2001 film, telling the story of a struggling writer, Christian, who falls in love with the star showgirl, Satine, at the infamous Moulin Rouge nightclub in turn-of-the-century Paris. The show is a spectacular jukebox musical featuring mash-ups of pop hits alongside iconic songs from the film. It won 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and is known for its "eye-popping excess," splendor, and celebration of "Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and — above all — Love".
We'll be sitting on the Orchestra level.
