“Escape the Heat at Sycamore Canyon Lollipop Hike and Potluck!”

Please join us for this Coastal Escape from our approaching Heatwave! We will be starting at Sycamore Cove Campground, on landward side of PCH. Take Sycamore Canyon Road and make 2 Left turns to find a the Day Use Parking. $12 per vehicle, carpooling is recommended.

Our Route takes us through the campground northwards, turning Left on The Fireline Trail, Left on Overlook Fire Road, continuing onto The Scenic Trail and Great Dune Trail. Sweeping Panoramas, Ocean and Channel Island views greeting us along the way. We will turned around at a Viewpoint and Enjoy Our Potluck at Bench with Gorgeous Views!

Please bring sturdy footwear with good treads, 2+ litres of water, layers, hat, sun glasses, bug spray, sun block, and most importantly is awesome Potluck item to share with fellow Happy Hikers!
