Topic:“From IF to WHEN - Building Incident Resilient Containers”
Containers are at the forefront of cloud adoption around the globe. But as security incidents become more prevalent, are we prepared to tackle if our containers were compromised? In this talk, we explore container security from the lens of security architecture and incident response.
By showcasing practical examples and demos, the first phase of the talk will map out the best practices and common pitfalls with security incidents in mind. After covering secure development, we will also know how to minimise the damage when an incident happens. We will learn how teams can build the right architecture for our Incident response team to succeed.
The second phase of the talk will focus on detections and incident response. Using various tools and techniques, we will learn to write various detection rules to help identify a breach. Furthermore we will also the best practices and strategies you can implement during the IR process. In short, the key theme this talk will explore is reducing the impact of a security incident for containers.
