## Details
What is 'self-love'? Many people struggle with understanding self-love, mistaking it for selfishness, arrogance, or indulgence, which can lead to cycles of guilt, burnout, or unfulfilled relationships. Solutions such as positive affirmations, self-care routines, and boundary-setting have been offered, but they often feel superficial or fail to address deeper emotional wounds. How can we cultivate genuine self-love that strengthens our well-being and relationships without falling into the traps of narcissism, avoidance, or entitlement? Join us as we break down the myths, explore the challenges, and uncover what true self-love really looks like.
- How do you personally define self-love, and how does your definition compare to how society portrays it?
- Where do you think the boundaries of self-love lie? At what point does it shift into something else, like entitlement or even narcissism?
- Is true self-love possible, or do we, as social beings, ultimately rely on validation and feedback from others to feel worthy?
- What are some meaningful and effective ways to cultivate self-love in daily life? Are there any practices that have personally worked for you?
- Do you think ‘self-love’ is the best term to describe this concept, or is there another phrase that better captures what it truly means?
