Cairns has been fortunate enough to join the world wide Practical Philosophy hub with a meetup of its own!
We have an important mission at Practical Philosophy in that we are helping to bring deep conversation, connection and community to cities and towns around the world. Each meetup is an opportunity to practice true philosophy, question our assumptions and hear new perspectives.

The key word in the name is ‘practical’, and the focus is on investigating the personal beliefs of participants, rather than quoting ancient thinkers (although you’re welcome to do that too, if it brings you joy).
