7km hike in Bilthoven's forest estates

Start your weekend with a nice walk in the forest! This month we're going for a 7km walk, starting from Bilthoven's train station, mostly going through the forest of the Beerschoten and Houdringe estates. At the end we'll walk through the center of Bilthoven, a perfect place to go for a drink or lunch afterwards. Are you joining?

The hikes organised by Utrecht Hiking Community are open for everybody, no matter whether you're local, expat, student or retired. We organise one hike per month and the aim of our hikes is not only to be active and explore places, but also to socialise and give you the opportunity to make new friends. Some of our attendees of previous hikes came in groups, while others came alone. We're not going for hiking fast, but for hiking "gezellig"! So, anyone can join, even if you're not an experienced hiker.

Our meeting point is the tunnel right under Bilthoven train station. Please arrive in time, as we want to depart at 10.30AM. If you're arriving late, please contact us by writing on WhatsApp to +31621177692. Then we can share our location with you.

For those coming by car, we recommend to park at the free P+R Bilthoven, which is located at Rembrandtlaan 34. Other parking areas near to the station have a limitation of 1.5 hours for parking, but at the P+R you may park for longer.

Unfortunately dogs aren't allowed on a part of this route. If you have a dog and want to join, you can still walk with us until halfway, but after that you'll need to go back in the same way as you came.
