Bridgnorth - Oldbury - Eardington - River Severn

The walk will start at 10am prompt at the Severn Street Car Park Bridgnorth WV15 6BB. You can park here for free on a Sunday or bank Holiday(car sharing encouraged) .
The walk will proceed to The SVR over the river bridge then go through the station yards and up a short incline past the new overflow parking area and then across school fields towards Oldbury. Then across fields towards Eardington and a short break by the SVR crossing point (see picture)(With luck might see a train). Eventually we return along the River Severn path to Bridgnorth centre. Distance about 6 miles , going easy to moderate. Afterwards we can, if so desired, have a break in the station (Railwayman's Arms et al). Suggestions are welcome if there is a better suggestion in the town centre itself. This is one of the first walks Pam and I conducted with Pathfinders and there are many fields with farm animals so dog owners on a lead , please.
