Welshampton to Ellesmere Circular

This is a 7 mile(ish) walk starting at Welshampton SY12 0PY.
There is parking at the Parish Hall and adjacent laybys and side roads in Welshampton which is on the A495. Turn right signposted Whitchurch onto the A495 about a mile before Ellesmere then after about a mile come into Welshampton itself. Go past the primary school on left then the church on the right and the Parish Hall is a further 100 yards on the left. The walk proceeds from the Sun Inn towards the canal and then circulates clockwise towards Ellsmere. We, eventually, have a dark tunnel to go through until we emerge near Ellsmere. We will have a short stop at the mere for coffee and a snack. From here we return over fields towards Welshampton
After the walk there is the Sun Inn just by the church for a drink if needed. There are cracking views and much history on the walk.
