What we’re about

Our group is for the 60 plus age group. Happy, outgoing, active and interesting ladies and gentlemen, singles or couples - for good quality lunches, dinners, shows, musicals, art center events, Yacht Club events and events at The Convention center like the Christmas Ball.

This group is for social, happy, healthy people who like interesting conversation and happy times and are prepared to make an effort.
We are not about huge groups or big numbers.
I will probably organize 1 -2 meets a week.
No fees.

If you want to bring a friend as a +1 once that is fine - but if it is ongoing they need to join. I like the names of everyone who is coming so we can all get to know each other.

A photo of your face on your profile is essential to join so we can put a face to the name. If you are a couple, then a photo of both of you together would be good.

RSVP to every event you wish to attend, if you are a couple, you must add +1 to have 2 seats. If you can't attend after all it is essential to change your RSVP - as soon as possible as there may be a waitlist for that event.

Wait-list - if you rsvp and you go on waitlist, please still do that as people do drop out and you will automatically go onto 'coming'.

For the high-end restaurants that this group does go to they will only give us one bill. So that is why it's a cash only policy. You cannot pay individually by credit card at the bar, we are not at the RSL, so if this is an issue, please don't RSVP to that event. Cheers

If you have several no-shows or are booking and then cancelling at the last minute, continually - this is rather insulting to the people doing all of the work behind the scenes, and people on the waitlist can't take your place, so we don't want you in the group thanks.

What does the name State of Grace mean? SOG is just a great state of mind to be in - happy, relaxed, in the moment, connected. Happy place.

Come join us.
Cheers Jen Nova
