- When: Friday, May 23, 2025 from 4 to 9pm (11pm if joining for dinner afterwards)
- Why: enlightenment and beauty
- How (please join at any point in the itinerary, and depart the same way if you wish - Irish goodbyes/French leaves accepted, low small talk option available)
- Arrive 4:00pm for a quick tour of whatever galleries/special exhibits might strike our fancy
- Around 5:30pm quick snack and drink at Kresge Court
- Before 6:00pm get to Drawing in the Galleries in the Native American Galleries / if time, around 6:30pm attend the Drop-in Workshop on Quilt Design in the Art-Making Studio
- [PURCHASE TIX at link] At 7:00pm watch the art house film "Kind Hearts and Coronets" (Hamer - UK 1949, runtime 106 min) at Detroit Film Theatre. If lame (unlikely) can ditch for Friday Night Live which runs from 7:00-9:00pm to hear komungo and pipa with percussion at the Asian Sound Revolution concert in Rivera Court.
- After 9:00pm ride/drive then walk around aimlessly in midtown/downtown Detroit, ultimately making the pilgrimage all the way to American/Lafayette Coney Islands (can be settled through R-P-S or we can get different dishes at each, or even double the same if anyone in the group has munchies).
