It’s a new century for Waffle Shop, and a legacy of service continues. For over 100 years, The Downtown Presbyterian Church has hosted a luncheon fundraiser to support those in need within our community. Held in downtown Nashville on the first Thursday in December, Waffle Shop has been the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season for decades.

This year’s event takes place on Thursday, Dec. 4th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $20.00 in advance – $25.00 at the door. Beginning November 1st, Waffle Shop tickets can be purchased at dpchurch.com.
Each $20 ticket includes:

• A hearty brunch of homemade waffles, grits, and a side – your choice of Hattie B’s Hot Chicken tenders, Puckett’s country bacon, or turkey hash made from DPC’s original Waffle Shop recipe. Beverages include water and a choice of Frothy Monkey Coffee or spiced tea.
• Premium holiday shopping opportunities in the charity bazaar. Selections include baked goods, handmade crafts, and unique holiday gifts! You can even build your own tin of GooGoo Clusters at a fantastic price!
• Festive holiday music performed by Nashville musicians Les Kerr and Brent Stoker.
• A guided tour of the church’s Egyptian Revival sanctuary, led by historian Jim Hoobler
• An organ recital by Dr. William Taylor and Christmas carol sing-along
• Most importantly, your purchase is a contribution to DPC’s Fish & Loaves Meal Ministry. This vital program assists those in our community who need food and other essentials.

Complimentary Parking & Shuttle:
FREE parking is available in the Nissan Stadium Parking Lot R North, near the Bridge Building. There are 2 access gates in this lot: Victory Ave. and S. 1st Street. Old Town Trolley is providing a complimentary shuttle to/from the parking lot and DPC. A sign will be in the lot R (north) indicating the shuttle pick-up spot.
