Let's go revisit Aldar Cafe! The owner, Hassan Alwadi, is from Yemen and takes his coffee very seriously. He learned about coffee from watching his grandmother pick, dry, and roast coffee beans from their family garden. He moved to Memphis specifically to open a business in the "International District" on Summer Avenue. The cafe opened in January 2024 and offers authentic Yemeni coffee and tea, along with pastries, smoothies, and pizza.
