Welcome to Walk and Talk – a friendly, low-pressure group for anyone looking to get out, meet new people, move a little, and enjoy good conversation. Our events are all about casual walks, making genuine connections, and occasionally sharing a nice meal together.

### Group Guidelines
To keep things running smoothly and respectfully:
- Please RSVP Responsibly
If you can’t make it to an event, especially a non-walking event like dinner or brunch, update your RSVP before the event starts. This helps with planning and shows respect for everyone’s time. - No-Shows Without Notice
Members who repeatedly RSVP and don’t show up—especially for meal-based events—without updating their RSVP may be removed from the group.
We’re here to enjoy each other’s company, and a little courtesy goes a long way. Looking forward to walking and talking with you soon!

🥾 Distance: Approx. 3–4 miles (loop or out-and-back, depending on group preference)
🌿 Difficulty: Easy to moderate
💵 Fee: $2. Friday, December 26th, for a morning hike at the “Hole in the Fence” trailhead—one of the area’s best-kept secrets! This beautiful trail system winds through shaded forest, sandy stretches, and scenic wetlands. It’s a peaceful spot to get moving and reset before the weekend.
Parking Info:
There is a designated parking lot at 12629 Morris Bridge Rd. A $2.00 day-use fee is required by Hillsborough County and can be paid by cash or card at the kiosk.
We’ll meet near the kiosk at 9:00 AM and head out shortly after. Please bring water, sun protection, bug spray, and sturdy shoes for sandy and uneven terrain.
This hike will be a steady-paced walk with time to enjoy the surroundings and regroup as needed.3 attendees

🥾 Distance: Approx. 3.2 miles
🌿 Difficulty: Easy to moderate
💵 Fee: $6 per vehicle, $4 fee for single occupant vehicles. Friday, January 2nd, for a morning hike at the “Wetlands Trail”! The Wetland Trail at Hillsborough River State Park is approximately 3.2 miles long. This trail offers beautiful views of wetlands, wildflowers, and wildlife, making it a great spot for nature enthusiasts.
