See all- Group Ruck Hike (Millennial + Gen Z) ⛰️🥾Needs location
Join us for a fun group ruck hike! We hit the trails together, carrying weighted backpacks (or “rucks”) for an extra challenge and great conversation along the way.
🎒What to bring:
-
a backpack (any sturdy daypack works)
-
some weight (dumbbells, sandbags, or even a large camelback) - aim for 10-30lbs depending on your fitness level
-
comfortable hiking/trail shoes
-
water and a snack
-
weather appropriate clothing
❓WHAT: A ruck hike, or rucking, is essentially walking with a weighted backpack (a "ruck" or "rucksack"). It's a low-impact exercise that combines cardiovascular training with strength training by adding weight to your walk.
