Welcome to the Melbourne 🇦🇺 MongoDB User Group!

The team at Google has kindly offered to host us for the evening at their offices in Collins St. Complimentary drinks and snacks, as well as some SWAG, will be available, proudly sponsored by the team at MongoDB.

Please make sure to RSVP by Tuesday, 11 July, as we need to have everyone registered for building access.

Speakers

Daniel Corboy (LinkedIn) - Daniel Corboy is a Cloud Engineer at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, working with MongoDB Atlas in an Enterprise environment for many years. He'll present examples and tell the story of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's journey of setting up MongoDB Atlas as an automated platform at an enterprise level, with successes, failures, and lessons for the future.

Philipp Waffler (LinkedIn) - Philipp is a MongoDB Senior Solution Architect from Munich and based in Melbourne. He’ll present why working with documents in MongoDB differs from working with tabular structures in a SQL database. He will present 101 on data modelling in MongoDB and focus on the question of embedding vs. linking data in MongoDB.
