PyCon AU - CFP Abstract Writing Workshop

Details
PyCon AU '23 Call For Proposals are now open, and we're here to host a workshop to bring your ideas for all things Python, open source, and tech-related to life!
Want to submit a talk to be part of PyCon AU hosted in Adelaide in August? Or do you have some fantastic ideas for a topic and want to see them brought to life?
Come join us in Melbourne for a Abstract Writing Workshop hosted by Django Con AU Specialist Track co-hosts Katie McLaughlin & Liz Holliday.
PyCon AU is back and IRL for the 2023 instalment. This year, we're lucky enough to be sending two of our MelbDjango community members over to co-host the DjangoCon AU Specialist Track.
DjangoCon welcomes topics about Django from all experience levels, but as a conference for Django enthusiasts, we also want to hear from those outside Django. A tradition for DjangoCons has been to have concepts from other web frameworks and programming languages to share their experience to help broaden the Django ecosystem. So we would like to extend this workshop offer to the realms outside of Django and Python, to different frameworks that could contribute to our community's growth.
Limited Capacity - due to the limited capacity of this meetup, please update your attendance if you are unable to attend.
The Workshop Runsheet will be announced in the MelbDjango slack channel on Monday 01/05. To check you have everything you need for the session jump on our MelbDjango Slack channel via this link >>

MelbDjango
MelbDjango began in the month of May, 2013 - created by the founder of Common Code, Daryl Anthony. Over the years we’ve gathered a community of Django fanatics through our Hack Nights, Peer to Peer Learning Workshops, Camp Outs, Monthly Garage Meetups and Lightning Talks. Let’s get together again for a little party in the name of PyCon, that will kick start regular meetups and events run by (and for) the MelbDjango/Common Code community!
