LILYDALE - GRUYERE - SEVILLE - LABOUR DAY GRAVEL LOOP

51 kms, 700 vm of climbing, 60% on gravel or unsealed surfaces, 10% rougher tracks, 30% sealed. Hilly and scenic. Intermediate / medium.

Bring snacks and plenty of water. Rest stop in Gruyere (17 km). Lunch at winery in Seville (@33 km - https://www.whisperinghills.com.au ). Splash park at Lilydale Lake (49km).

Ride will be suitable for gravel-worthy, geared bicycles with treaded tyres of at least 35mm / 1.4” wide. Riders need to be reasonably fit with some gravel riding experience.

Park at Lilydale train station carpark at 8:15 am, or catch the 7:06 / 7:19 am Lilydale train from Flinders Street / Richmond. We will go to a nearby cafe for pre-ride fuel, before pedalling off at 8:45am.
