Our Melbourne Cloud Native Security Meetups are back in session, hosted this time around at Google Melbourne! As always, come along for pizza on us, drinks and chats with your fellow security peers.
We'll be joined by Kaif Ahsan (Product Security Engineer at Atlassian) and Kumar Soorya (Security Engineer). The title of Kaif and Soorya's talk is 'Live Hacking Marathon: Breaking The Supply Chain'. Through live demonstrations, they'll be highlighting vulnerabilities in the software supply chain, discussing secure development guidelines and detection mechanisms along the way.

About the speakers
Kaif Ahsan is a coder by passion and a hacker by profession. He started his journey in tech as a Software Engineer but soon fell in love with the art of breaking software. He currently works as a Product Security Engineer at Atlassian, where his team works on helping developers ship secure products and keep them safe during cyber attacks and incidents.
Kumar Soorya is a Security Engineer. Prior to his current role, he was a Security Operations Consultant at Fortian, where he worked with his team to aid clients with their ongoing security monitoring, threat hunting and incident response. Soorya has also worked as a security engineer within a global fintech firm, covering a range of different aspects from security monitoring to PCI audits. Soorya is passionate about making knowledge about security accessible to security leaders, practitioners and students.
Kaif and Soorya co-host Everything Cyber on YouTube, where they share hands-on and conversational videos on tech and cybersecurity.
